Go to ilohablog.com Click on the Create Account link. Fill out each field and click on the Create Account button. Your account has now been created! How do I create a blog? Log in to IlohaBlog (if you aren't allready). Enter a Handle in the space provided below the Create New Blog heading. The handle will be included in the address (url) of the blog. For example, if you use foo as your handle the address of your blog will be http://blogs.iloha.net/foo Enter a Blog Name. The blog name will show up at the top of every page of your blog. You can change the blog name anytime after the blog has been created. Click on the Create Blog button. You have created a blog! There should be a link for your new blog under the Existing Blogs heading. Click on the link to get started. How do I post an entry to my blog? Log in to IlohaBlog (if you aren't allready). Select the blog you want to post to from the list under the Existing Blogs heading (if you haven't allready). This should bring you to the New Blog Entry screen. If you somehow are not on this screen click on the Add Entry link at the top of the screen. Give your post a title by filling out the Title field. Enter the body of your post in the Text field. Click on the Enter button at the bottom of the screen You have posted to your blog! For more details see the Add Entry documentation. How do I add an image to an entry? Log into IlohaBlog, if you haven't allready. Click on the New Entry link. Underneath the Text field in the the New Entry window you should see a link titled Add Image. When you click on the Add Image link a window should pop up with three text fields and three buttons. The first text field is labeled Image URL. Fill out this field if the image you want to use is the web somewhere and you want to use it from its existing location. If you want to upload an image from your computer you should click on the Browse button. This should pop up a window that will let you browse your computer for your image. Once you have found your image the path should show up in the text field labeled Upload your own image. Now click on the Upload button. The new address (url) of the image should then show up in the Image URL text field. The other text field, labeled Link image to this URL is used for making the image a link to something on the web. This is optional. You should now be able to click on the add image button to insert the image into your post. The html code for the image should show up in the Text box of your entry. For more details see the Add Entry documentation. How do I add a link to an entry? Log into IlohaBlog, if you haven't allready. Click on the New Entry link. Underneath the Text field in the the New Entry window you should see a link titled Add Link. When you click on Add Link a window should pop up with two text fields and a button. The first text field is labeled Text. You should enter the text for the link here. This is the text that will show up in the entry. The next field is labeled URL. This is where you enter the address that the link should go to. IlohaBlog will not check this link for you so make sure it is valid. Once these two fields are entered click on the add link button. Just click on the PermaLink link below the entry you want to post/view comments for. How do I remove an entry? Go to the Recent Entries screen and click on the Edit link. Select the Hide entry option and click on the Update button.
